The Journey Within — A Personal Note

Rajeev Vashista is on this journey of spirituality like many others. He has gone through his own ups and downs, faced his own doubts, and questioned everything along the way. He has read countless religious scriptures and spiritual books from traditions across the world — from the Vedas and Upanishads to the Bible, the Quran, the Dhammapada, and the teachings of modern mystics.

And in the end, he found something surprising: books don't matter. Religions don't matter. What truly matters is how serious you are about knowing the truth — the truth about yourself, about this world, about this existence that you find yourself in.

Nothing is inherently truth or a lie unless you live those things and discover them for yourself. This doesn't mean you have to renounce the world and live in a jungle to prove what the Buddha said. Not at all. The real test is to stay in this world — with all its noise, its chaos, its provocations and instigations — and check your own limits.

When everything around you is provoking you, testing you, pulling you in every direction — can you remain calm? Can you remain compassionate? Can you remain relaxed? That is the real spiritual practice. That is where the rubber meets the road.

And here's another question: Are you ready to live with yourself? Not alone — loneliness and living with yourself are completely different. Loneliness is a longing for others. Living with yourself is a homecoming. Despite being surrounded by so many people, can you be comfortable in your own skin? Can you sit with your own thoughts without running away?

This is a journey without any destination. If there is a goal, perhaps you are the goal. Or perhaps this life itself is the goal. Or perhaps the goal is fluid — shifting, evolving, dissolving as you grow. Or maybe there is no conclusion at all, and the idea of a goal is a myth. Maybe the seeking itself is the point.

Consider this: The Buddha left his palace. Ramakrishna lived a life of simple devotion. Ramana Maharishi left home as a young boy. Jesus didn't fear death. Each walked their own path — not following a formula, but responding to an inner calling. They didn't have a guarantee either. They simply explored — sincerely, deeply, relentlessly.

I don't guarantee you anything. But can anyone? Life offers no guarantees. What I can offer is a sincere invitation to explore alongside me. Not as a teacher and student, but as fellow travelers on the same mysterious journey.

Come, join me in this exploration. Witness for yourself the most addictive path — the path that has called seekers for millennia. No promises. No conclusions. Just the raw, honest, terrifyingly beautiful journey of finding out who you really are.
